London, 1977 The war with Lord Voldemort is heating up and currently the muggle world is getting the brunt of it with 'mysterious' disappearances' and unexplained deaths. The Muggle Prime Minister is working with the Minister of Magic but quietly.
Inside Hogwarts things are changing too. The students are returning for the school year and things are about to become intense as the up and coming war is affecting the student body. Students are forced to pick sides, house rivalries are becoming more common and more brutal. Daily attacks have students being sent to the hospital wing in droves. Other students are banding together and defending themselves against the Dark Arts. They are doing whatever it takes to survive. They didn't think that their lives would be Blighted By War.
